Grand Western Canal 10K

Grand Western Canal 10K run or walk from Tiverton canal basin to Sampford Peverell.

This year sees the 26th Grand Western Canal 10K Walk, Run and family festival (from Tiverton canal basin to Sampford Peverell) and I am a representative from the committee helping to organise this fantastic event. I am contacting several local groups who may be interested in participating, as a team, or individually, in this event. This year’s event will take place on the 14th July 2019, and will raise money for CLIC Sargent, a cancer charity for children, young people and their families who are suffering with cancer. Last year we raised a whopping £16,954 for CLIC Sargent and we have ambitious targets to reach £20,000 this year. With participation from clubs and groups such as yourselves, we are confident we can reach this target. There's even the opportunity to win a trophy for the Biggest Group Entered! Not only is there the opportunity to take part in the 10k run or walk, there is also a family festival straight after the event where there will be local bands, trade stalls, children's entertainment and plenty to do for all the family.
